Ororo had been flying for a while. She preferred travelling by her own accord. Everything else was too mechanical. The wind through her hair, on her face. It made her feel alive. She landed down in Egypt. She remembered living here when she was a child.
Nothing much had changed. The desert was still as sandy as ever. The palm trees stood tall, offering little shade. And the Nile. Her one sanctity as a child. She loved playing within the waters. Although, it was inhabited by crocodiles. But she was fine. Pyramids, as sacred as ever, looked exactly the same before she left.
Creatures roaming the desert. Especially the scorpions. Millions of scorpions. She frequently saw villagers roaming between villages, carrying vegetables, fruits, meat. Little children running around in the safety of the villages. She loved doing that.
Her travels tore her away from this place. No-one had known that she had any type of mutant power. Not even her parents. She felt incredibly sad when she had to leave. Those sad goodbyes. But she was back for a reason. To tell her parents about... her powers. The situation was going to be awkward enough. The silences. The looks. She just had to let them know, she couldn't bear it any longer.

Bishop had left the old timeline, Xavier had given his farewells and good blessings. He was a man that Bishop had to fight for, somebody who held such compassion for life that Apocalypse would never be allowed to take over the world. This new timeline had gotten Bishop transported into Egypt, he knew Apocalypse began here, he was to destroy Apocalypse before he could grow so powerful.
The portal opened and Bishop landed hard upon some sandy rocks, winded slightly Bishop stood up wiping sand from his hard skin. He checked his watch, a device that allowed him to view where in time he was. What he saw did not please him, the timeline he now stood in meant that Apocalypse was more than alive, it was the peak of Apocalypse' life in this timeline and who knows how long Apocalypse could actually live for.
"Shit..." Bishop cursed, realising that as he tried transporting between timelines a Sentinel had damaged the equipment - meaning he wasn't sent to the exact timeline he required.
The desert he stood upon seemed barren as anything, shadows formed and disappeared upon the ever moving sand. In the distance it seemed as if the sand was walking across the ground but upon closer inspection Bishop saw it was a swarm of Scorpions. Lucas Bishop had little to no idea on which direction to walk, there seemed to be a complete lack of intelligent life for miles.
Calculating roughly by where the sun sat in the sky he found where North, South, East and West should all be sitting... roughly. New York was East of this place, so Bishop began to trudge through the sand in that direction.
